This is similar to "Alethea." I used grey, silver and gold 12/0 seed beads. The result is a classy look for any evening out with friends.

Peyote Tube Beads

This was a really fun project. I started by making the non-collapsible peyote tube beads and completing them with bead caps. Then I strung the necklace up the conventional way using Swarovski pearls and gold coloured spacer beads. I'm now working on smaller beads and different colour combinations. Hope to get them ready by next week!

Gold Rush S$60

This is a beautiful 18-inch necklace with gold seed beads as the main colour. Using the fish net technique, I accented this with a gold purplish seed bead which brings out the royalty factor. I added antique gold bead caps at the end, Swarovski crystals and an antique gold rose clasp. Quite vintage looking!

Fuchsia and Purple

I made this for my daughter who loves pink and purple. I used the fish net technique for the main necklace and a Dutch Spiral Twist for the centrepiece.

Alethea S$70

Here's my new creation made with the seed beads I last posted! I named this opera length necklace after my daughter because the colours of the rainbow remind me of someone who loves life and lives it to the fullest! It's quite lovely worn dangling or tied into a knot. Can also be adjusted to match most clothes!

Beadwork in progress

I've been rather quiet working on my new beadwork projects. This is one of them, a Dutch spiral twist. I used 11/0 Matsuno glass seed beads in 4 colours. It's only half done so I'll post the completed necklace probably by tomorrow.

Viola!

Here it is! I completed this necklace yesterday. Those who have seen this and Garden Fantasy have commented how beautiful they look. Thank you for the positive comments.

I am still experimenting new techniques and styles.

After I completed the rope weave as the base, I started sewing in the beads. I will try to complete the centrepiece today.

Step 2 for Fantasy

I started weaving this 7 inch seed bead rope last night using the 3x3 weave technique. Sorry the photo is a little blurred!

I was asked to make another Garden Fantasy but this time with brown as the main colour.
As you can see, I got together all the tools and beads I needed. I picked seed beads with copper, purple, bronze, gold, green and yellow. Then I matched glass bead flowers and leaves together with Swarovski crystals and pearls.

I started on this project last night where I did a 3x3 weave in a rope before threading on the glass beads and Sarovski crystals. Before this I spent one week designing and thinking this pattern through in my head.

This necklace was really fun to make. I love the garden theme, don't you?

Wedding Day!

This project was really fun to make although it was a little bit challenging trying to get everything to be aligned. The photo is a little bright. I used Swarovski pearls 4mm, 6mm and 8mm in light peach and white.

The necklace can be shortened to wear as a choker or lengthened. At the back, I attached 5 light peach pearls and 1 white pearl.

I can also substitute Swarovski crystals for the pearls or even have a combination of crystals and pearls in any colour. If you prefer a whole set, I can make matching ear-rings and a bracelet. For a wedding, I can simplify the design for the bridesmaids and flower girls!

Chain Mail 2

This is a chain mail bracelet I made for my daughter. I used Swarovski 6mm crystals in Padparascha and Peridot with slightly larger silver rings. The effect is different as you can see.

This project can be DIY, it's not difficult, just lots of opening and closing rings!

Chain Mail

This is my first attempt at the chain mail technique and I am quite pleased with the results. I used antique gold spring rings in two sizes. This bracelet has smoky quartz and light peach 6mm Swarovski crystals and an antique gold flower clasp.

A manageable DIY project but may take more than 2 hours for beginners to jewelry making.

The photo is a little on the dark side because the rain clouds are back again!

Princess in the Garden S$38

This pair of gold-filled ear-rings has a group of freshwater pearls in various sizes and colours wired on with gold-filled wire and gold plated 925 silver tear-drops.

Wearing this will make you feel like a princess! Imagine walking in the garden surrounded by trees and bushes, lilac and pink flowers!

Jasper S$60

This 19-inch necklace with a 3-inch drop is made up of jasper tubes joined together with black onyx beads in two sizes and peach aventurine beads. I used 925 silver wires and pulled everything together with a silver heart-shaped lobster clasp.

Whimsy

This whimsical necklace took two days to complete! I used three types of seed beads together with 4mm Swarovski crystals in light Siam, Alabaster AB and white pearls for the centrepiece.
